Instrumental, Vocal & Whole Class Teachers

Location: Area-based by agreement

Salary: £24,150 - £35,460 depending on experience and qualifications

Employment package includes TPS and mileage

Part-time - FTE to be agreed on appointment

BMT is also the core organisation of the Buckinghamshire Music Education Hub, seeking to realise our vision with a range of partners and professionals who share a passion for music and its importance for all young people, in all its forms.

We have a number of opportunities available due to increased demand from both parents and schools. BMT is an exciting place to be at the moment! All roles will commence in the summer term, although there may be the option to commence sooner if appropriate. All roles can be tailored by area and the amount of teaching desired by candidates and will be discussed at interview. Once part of BMT there will be more opportunities to get involved in ensembles, projects and music centres.

We are looking for these areas:

  • Whole Class Practical Musicianship on appropriate KS2 instruments
  • Guitar teaching in the Chiltern & South Bucks area
  • Lower brass teaching across the county
  • Piano teaching in the Aylesbury area

Music Centre Business Support Officer

Location: Aylesbury Music Centre, HP21 7ST

Salary: £21,880 FTE, Actual £10,029.79

Part-time: 20 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks pa)

We are looking for an effective and professional BSO for a role with the following functions:

  • ‘Front of House’ at Aylesbury Music Centre, supporting all users, including teachers
  • Business support for the centre and the two Area Leaders based there
  • Customer support for parents, students and visitors
