It is with great sadness that we share the news of the death of Nick Care.
Nick led the Aylesbury Music Centre Dance Band for many years as part of a wide profile of education and music in the area that had a huge impact on so many young musicians in Buckinghamshire. One only has to look at the successes and the numbers of professional players from his bands to realise what a special and influential man he was. There are also many people in other walks of life who carry a lifelong passion for music inspired by the start he gave them with his passion and commitment.
All our thoughts are with Kathy and her loss and when we are able to do so, we will support her in putting on a suitable musical tribute at the Music Centre.
Due to the current situation, his funeral will be webcast on Monday 16th November and then remain available for 7 days.

Nick died after living with Motor Neurone Disease for some time and contributed to the John Radcliffe programme of research.
Some people have enquired about making a charitable donation in his memory and Kathy has nominated the MND Association and has earmarked these donations specifically for research. Please don’t feel obliged to do so, but if you’d like to donate something this can be done online or by cheque.
